Transparent patinas of blue, green and yellow, over highly detailed and polished bronze, dance with reflected brilliance. The depth of the cold black pupil draws the observer’s view to the center of the sculpture and then opens out to encompass the whole design. Affixed to the front of the marble base is a unique Ophthalmology Caduceus crafted in high polished bronze. Mounted on Empress green marble and native dark Walnut, the IRIS was created especially for the Ophthalmology medical professional.
