The heart and surgeons hands are mounted on a quasi-contemporary deeply curved bronze base which gives the effect that the hands and heart are in mid-air. The heart is finished with a special dark red patina complementing the hands in a warm tan finish. “Gift of Life II” is mounted on a 10-inch black walnut base topped with verde marble.
